The Arc of Essex County (https://arcessex.org), a Livingston-based nonprofit that provides support to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD), will be hosting its 5th annual Uncorked and Uncapped: Wine, Beer, and Food Fest (https://uncorkedanduncapped.com) at The Wilshire Grand Hotel in West Orange, NJ on Thursday, September 27. The event will feature three uninterrupted hours of fine wine, craft beer, spirits and cocktails, a wide array of food samplings from local eateries, lively entertainment, a silent auction, and 50/50 raffle.
A truly special evening that brings the very best of the New Jersey food, beer, and wine scene together to raise funds to continue serving children and adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities throughout Essex county.
Priced at $100 per person, tickets are now on sale and proceeds will benefit The Arc’s programs and services that help 1,500 individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities (I/DD) and their families served each week.
Uncorked & Uncapped features a wide array of cuisine from over 25 restaurants and eateries. New additions to this year’s samplings include Ah’ Pizz, Benji’s Taqueria Mexican Grill, Chef Freddy’s Table, Cowan’s Public, Frank Anthony’s, George & Martha’s, H2Ocean, Hibiscus, Minuteman Smokehouse & Grill, Pierogies House, and South + Pine. Returning restaurants include Bond’s Tavern, Chef Jesse Jones Cuisine and Catering, Das’ Creamery, Frutta Bowls, Glazed & Confused, Nero’s, Piattino Neighborhood Bistro and Stonewater at 3 Peak Marina.
This year’s wine and beer libations will be featured from A-List, Baccus Fine Wine, Bira 91, Casa Americo, Cerveja Portuguesa, Estrella da Galicia, Fedway, Flying Fish, Hoboken Brewing Company, Organic Vintages, River Horse, and Winebow. Hard cider and spirits vendors include Fisher’s Island Lemonade, Ironbound Cider, Jersey Spirits, Romilly Cidre, and Tommyrotter.
