On Friday, June 1, for one day only, Spuntino Wine Bar & Italian Tapas (spuntinowinebar.com) will bring back its red wine-glazed doughnut in celebration of National Doughnut Day.
This year, the Clifton, NJ and Garden City, NY locations of Spuntino is adding a bit of a twist to up the ante – the Red Wine-Glazed Doughnut will feature homemade doughnuts stuffed with creamy, rich Nutella, dusted with powdered sugar and drizzled in a Montepulciano red wine glaze and plated atop a sweet Crème Anglaise.
